Silicone Rubber Gaskets
Silicone is the general name for a family of polymers that includes any synthetic compound consisting of repeating units of siloxane (from which the material’s alternate name, polysiloxane, derives). Siloxane is best described as a chain of alternating silicon and oxygen atoms; carbon and/or hydrogen are frequent additives.
Why Silicone Rubber Gaskets?
Being an inert material, silicone generally does not react to the majority of chemicals and other fluids like acetic acids, detergents, alcohol and salt water making it popular for use in medical and industrial applications. Silicone is a very clean rubber with low odor and taste and it is generally non-reactive and stable.
Silicone Rubber Seals
High Strength, High Temperature Gaskets
These gaskets are engineered to withstand extreme temperatures while offering excellent shock-absorbing properties. Their robust design ensures a long-lasting performance, making them ideal for demanding applications.
High Purity, High Temperature Gaskets
Our gaskets are crafted with high-purity materials, meeting USP Class VI standards. This ensures that they are suitable for critical applications where purity is a top priority, even in high-temperature environments.
EMI/RFI Shielding, High Temperature Gaskets
Fire-Retardant, High Temperature Gaskets
Offering a robust defense against fire and smoke, these gaskets meet stringent standards such as FAR 25.856 and UL94VO. They are a crucial component in fire-resistant applications, ensuring safety and compliance.

Manufactured from Continuous Rolls or Sheets of Rubber
Alpha die cutting’s solid silicone gasket products are manufactured by die cutting flat parts from continuous rolls or sheets of silicone rubber. So that we provide the customer with the best combination of price, quality and delivery, we source from 3 different silicone rubber suppliers. We source high temperature silicone rubber material to make gaskets that are food grade (FDA), to MIL spec and AMS standards. We manufacture flat standard gasket and washer sizes, as well as custom sizes. Alpha Die Cutting Manufacture Gaskets From ¼” to 28” in Diameter. Silicone rubber material is available in various thicknesses from 0.005” to 0.50”.
A Choice of Rubber Material
Alpha Die Cutting, located in San Diego, offers a versatile range of silicone rubber materials. We provide options with a plain backing or Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA) on one side, and a selection of hardness levels.
Our low durometer silicone rubber gaskets (10A, 20A, 30A) excel in environmental sealing, requiring relatively low closure force. On the other hand, solid gaskets in the mid to higher durometer range are designed for applications where higher closure forces are necessary. These gaskets find common use in metal or rigid enclosures with the appropriate bolt pattern to ensure proper compression of a sturdy gasket.
Diverse Silicone Rubber Options
While silicone rubber is commonly found in red, Alpha Die Cutting offers an extensive range of color choices, including white, cream, black, yellow, green, blue, brown, and clear. In addition to solid silicone, we provide silicone sponge and silicone foam materials. Discover the versatile world of silicone rubber with us.
