Recently, continued labor constraints combined with developments in China (flooding) have led to shortages of silicone. Approximately 70 percent of the world’s silicon production is in China.
We are now experiencing new supply limitations and high spiking prices. In some cases we cannot get reliable delivery dates from the distributors on existing purchase orders.
